Runway Inspiration: {Dolce and Gabbana Spring RTW 2012}

{...it appears everyone went wild for Dolce and Gabbana's collection, shown in Milan this weekend and brought directly to my iphone via instagram (there were some gorgeous shots which unfortunately I cannot share as I have not yet found a web interface application that is accepted in Canada), nevertheless, there is always style.com to bring us the latest and these detail pictures are terrific... don't you just love the large floral prints, gorgeous details for the back and short romper pant suits?... hope you had a wonderful weekend and wish you all the best for a terrific week head...xo}

Decor Inspiration: {A Chilean Retreat}

{... hello lovelies... I saw this beautiful home a few weeks ago on the lovely blog "Aubrey Road" and haven't stop thinking about it... albeit the architect waived his fee, the home was originally built in 1999 "in a largely rural area with spectacular natural scenery some 40 miles southwest of urban Santiago" for only $80,000 using "economical materials and methods" such as pine white-painted floors, while the interior walls and kitchen cabinets were "faced with exposed sheets of plywood and painted white lightly as a wash"... I find the home exquisite in its simplicity, functional and beautiful... enjoy}

Fashion Inspiration: {Fall Fashion + Catching Up}

{Hello again! It has been hectic since my last post, i.e., returning to work after four months french language training, the birth of my second grandchild, beautiful Léa, seen here, here and here and finally with her big brother, Zachary. Zachary, Léa and her parents (my oldest daughter, Amanda and her boyfriend) are living with us until my their new home is finish being built, sometime mid-November... so family life has been terrific to say the least... and now for this post, I absolutely love hats and graphic prints so couldn't resist posting this editorial... p.s. welcome to September, my favourite month of the year (has nothing to do that my birthday falls on the 14th!) hope your long weekend is going along beautifully so far, xoxo}
